Introducing Gregory, the middle-sized bear of our much-loved original collection. Designed by John Blackburn in 1979, this traditional bear has remained a core member of the Canterbury Bear range ever since.
Made from 100% pure golden curly mohair with soft fawn ultra-suede pads and paws. He has shiny black safety-locking eyes and a black hand embroidered nose, which lends him an endearing expression. Gregory is fully jointed with our own hand-stamped wooden joints and is soft filled with pure white polyester stuffing. To complete this bear’s traditional appearance, he wears a double-sided red satin bow around his neck and has a weighted bag in his tummy that gives him a lovely tactile feel.
